Course Overview
This assessments evaluate the skills required to perform pest control operations at Supervisor level
Skills Required

Fully aware about Tadweer Technical Guidelines for responsible use of PHP management
2
Good knowledge about pests' biology and behavior
3
Good knowledge about insecticides uses and safety precautions
4
Aware about local and federal requirements and regulations
5
Aware about the required tools and equipment and their use, maintenance and disposal
6
Have good communication skills
7
Capable to identify fleas and ticks infestation
8
Capable to document all process and is fully aware about IPM techniques
Performance Criteria
1. . Identify and report the presence of pests, infestation and damages by inspection/observation
2. Monitoring and controlling pests’ infestation
3. Manage location against pests and apply appropriate safety measures
4. Re-instate location on completion of treatment
5. Supervise and implement the appropriate safe operational procedures
6. Apply health and safety measures before, during and after treatment
The Prerequisite to Attend this Course
This highly practical and interactive course has been specifically designed for:
Valid permit for supervisor issued from ADQCC
Sufficient experience in the same field
Bachelor’s degree certificate in medical entomology, entomology, public health pest control, plant protection, pesticides chemistry, agriculture science or related majors
