Course Overview

This ADQCC-approved course equips supervisors with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills for effective pest control management. Participants will gain a deep understanding of pest biology, behavior, and the responsible use of insecticides, adhering to Tadweer Technical Guidelines and all relevant regulations. The curriculum also covers essential tools and equipment, safety protocols, communication skills, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques, including the identification of flea and tick infestations. The assessment focuses on practical application, ensuring supervisors can identify, monitor, control, and document pest infestations while implementing and overseeing safe operational procedures.

Course Outline

Assessment

Identify and report the presence of pests, infestation and damages by inspection/observation
Monitoring and controlling pests’ infestation
Manage location against pests and apply appropriate safety measures
Re-instate location on completion of treatment
Supervise and implement the appropriate safe operational procedures
Apply health and safety measures before, during and after treatment
