Course Overview

Gas testing is required for any work that introduces a source of ignition into a restricted area, or for activities that require confined space entry. The purpose of this course is to provide information about hazardous atmospheres and effective gas testing procedures to personnel involved in gas testing.

The Authorised Gas Tester training program’s objectives are to ensure that personnel preparing for a gas tester role have the knowledge and skills to properly conduct gas tests for oxygen levels, flammable, and toxic gases
