Course Outline

Day 01
  • Introduction of asset management/facility management
  • The course begins with an introduction to facility/asset management where delegates would come to know about the technical terms and concepts of facility/asset management.
  • Introduction Bio Medical Safety
  • This portion of the training will deal with acceptance and commissioning of new medical devices, inventory of medical equipment, maintenance of medical equipment, clinical alarm use, calibration of devices, and evacuation plan etc.
  • What is Bio medical audit?
  • This part of the training will deal with basic terms of audit, kind of audit, opening meeting, criteria of audit, closing meeting, issuance of NCRs and observations and preparation of final audit report.
  • What are Health and Safety?
  • This part of training will deal with the general concept of health and safety e.g. hazard, likelihood, consequences, risk, risk management, risk assessment, incident reporting and investigation etc.
  • Guarding and protection while working with power tools
  • Non-mechanical and chemical hazards with the power tools
  • Introduction about use of ladders and COP 37 of OSHAD
  • Safe use of ladders
  • Composition of ladders
  • Kinds of ladder etc.
  • What is Work at Height and safe operations?
  • COP 23 of OSHAD
  • Hazards associated with work at height
  • Safety procedures while preforming jobs on work at height
  • Awareness of safety harness, lifeline, warning line and retractable devices
